Colour-Enhancing & Antique Finish Sealers

Colour-enhancing and antique finish sealers are used to deepen the natural tones of terracotta and create a warmer, richer appearance. These finishes are popular in traditional interiors and period properties, where a more aged or characterful look is desired.

Depending on the product used, colour enhancement may be achieved through oils, colour-enhancing sealers or wax finishes, often followed by a protective topcoat. The level of darkening can usually be controlled through product choice and application method.

These sealers are best selected once the tile type, location and desired finish have been confirmed, as different terracotta ranges respond differently to enhancement treatments.
