Ordering Your Tiles
This guide explains how to order, delivery times, minimum quantities and what to expect when your tiles arrive.
1️⃣ Can I collect my tiles?
In most cases, collection is not practical.
Orders over approximately 20 m² are usually supplied directly from our manufacturers in Spain and delivered to your address. Terracotta tiles weigh around 30 kg per m², meaning even modest quantities require delivery by large van or lorry. Our palletised delivery service is designed to be the safest and most convenient option.
Occasionally, we may have small surplus quantities remaining from previous imports. Where these are available and purchased, collection may be possible from our facility in Devon. Please contact us to check availability.
2️⃣ What is the minimum amount I can order?
Minimum order quantities are shown on each product page and vary depending on the tile range and current availability.
As a specialist importer, we work closely with our manufacturers and can supply:

Commercial quantities
—from minimum pallet orders through to full container loads.
Ordering extra tiles
We strongly recommend ordering an additional 5–10% to allow for:

Cutting and wastage
-
Minor breakages during transport
-
Measuring tolerances
-
Future repairs using tiles from the same batch
Surplus tiles cannot be returned, but ordering extra avoids costly delays later.
Breakages of up to 5% are considered normal for terracotta tiles. Excessive damage will be assessed in line with our Terms & Conditions and must be reported promptly with photographic evidence.
3️⃣ How long will it take to receive my order?
Delivery times depend on availability:

UK stock items: typically 3–5 working days

Imported to order: please allow 7–21 days

Made-to-order handmade sizes: production time is usually around 4-6 weeks
If your project is time-sensitive, please contact us before ordering so we can advise on availability and lead times.
Delivery cost details:

Tiles: project-based delivery, FREE Mainland Delivery is included on full pallet orders.
Smaller orders and part pallets, delivery charge of £49 + VAT, confirmed before ordering. -
Samples: free UK delivery

Sealers and Cleaners: £3.95 flat rate
4️⃣ How is my order delivered?
Tiles are supplied on pallets and delivered by lorry with a tail lift (not a crane or reach arm).
Typical pallet quantities:

Traditional handmade tiles: up to approx. 24 m² per pallet

Stoneware / Quarry tiles: up to approx. 30 m² per pallet
Larger orders will be delivered on multiple pallets.
Important delivery information

Pallets are placed as close to the delivery point as access allows

Delivery vehicles cannot move pallets across gravel or uneven surfaces
-
A flat, solid surface is required if pallets need to be wheeled

Please ensure you have help available if needed
The delivery company will usually contact you before delivery, and we provide them with your contact details in advance.

6️⃣ Can I order now for delivery at a later date?
Yes. You can secure tiles for future delivery, whether weeks or months ahead.

A 50% deposit secures your order

The remaining balance is payable before dispatch

Delivery will be arranged to suit your project timeline
This option is popular for renovations and phased projects.
